Welcome!

I'm Emily Fink, a multi-hyphenate musical theatre performer, teacher, writer, and theatre educator based in NYC. I graduated from CCM in 2018 with my BFA in Musical Theatre and have been working professionally ever since, ranging from classic musical theatre to contemporary pop shows. In addition to performing, I am a playwright and passionate theatre creative.

As a voice teacher training at the Institute for Vocal Advancement, my biggest goal for my students is to help them nurture a powerful authentic sound! In training with me, you can expect to develop your chest, head, and mixed voices, correct imbalances in your range, learn to belt healthily, build confidence, and discover the joy of singing in a no-stress environment. Through my collegiate training, my years of experience as a performer, and my ongoing training through the Institute for Vocal Advancement, I am confident that I am the teacher to unlock YOUR voice's unique power and untapped potential!

"It is difficult to find a vocal coach you are comfortable with. With an audition right around the corner, Emily provided me with so many tools and her guidance was truly invaluable. In a short period of time, I grew more confident in my singing. I am so excited to discover more elements of my voice in future classes and thrive as a singer. I know that Emily will coach me to do just that."

-Liana S, Miami

“Working with Emily is a dream come true! For years, I’ve been through different voice teachers, struggling to understand the mechanics of belting/mix belting without throwing out my voice. Everything clicked instantly in just my first lesson with her. It is the perfect collaborative environment. My needs are acknowledged and cared for while she pushes and challenges me to my full potential. She gives you the tools to be confident with your best authentic voice!”

-Katelyn K, NYC

“I have only taken a handful of lessons with Emily Fink, and I already feel like I've grown in my singing and my confidence so much! She has helped me feel at ease as I've attempted new things with my voice, has helped improve my confidence in myself and I feel stronger in my ability to use my voice than I've ever felt before. In our lessons she has given me practical tips that have helped me both in my own personal singing and the singing and leading I do for my church. It has been fun to feel like I have more tools in my toolbox for both singing for fun and on stage. I've never enjoyed my voice and singing more.”
