Lenora Du Ponte: Live on Mars!

Devised by Karl Amundson, Emily Fink, AC Horton, Katie Langham

Part cabaret, part sci-fi adventure, part web show, part intergalactic spectacular(!), this one-woman romp through space and time explores infamous performer Lenora DuPonte’s Icarian rise and fall, humanity’s responsibility to each other at the end of the world, and asks the age old question: what are the arts really for? This project has been developing since March 2020 and is looking to produce soon! Stay tuned.

Falling Forward, An Original Musical

Music and Lyrics by Karl Amundson, Book by Emily Fink

2023 O’Neill Foundation Semi Finalist and 2020 NYMF Finalist! Meghan, a queer 27-year-old sculptor, is packing up her NYC apartment after the worst year of her life. She will be moving back in with her mom in Michigan, effectively giving up her life as a struggling artist. However, packing her apartment proves to be a noisy affair, as her belongings — a Bong, a Self-Help Book, a Family Portrait, a Vibrator, and more —come to life, forcing Meghan to reckon with her role in the events of her shitty year. FALLING FORWARD is a send-up of Gen-Z culture today, packing a punch of heart and raucous theatricality as Meghan second-guesses herself through a fumbling search for security in our decidedly uncertain world.
